Parent Engagement

While volunteering is optional, we invite you to spend time in the classroom and share your family's unique story as we believe parent engagement enriches our school community. We want parent’s to feel welcomed as partners in their child’s education. We understand that parents have many different demands on their time, so we can accommodate you to find opportunities to get engaged in and out of the classroom.

Classroom Visits

We invite parents to schedule a 30-minute to 1-hour visit to experience our preschool environment. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the children during non-structured activity times, such as free play or exploration. This hands-on experience allows you to connect with our community, observe our inclusive, play-based approach, and see how we foster creativity and collaboration.

Lead an Activity

Parents are welcome to take an active role in our classroom by leading a structured activity for the children! Whether it’s sharing a favorite story, introducing a craft, or teaching a simple skill, this is a wonderful way to connect with the children and contribute to their learning experience. Activities should be planned in advance and align with our inclusive and play-based philosophy. We’re here to support you in creating a meaningful and engaging session that the children will enjoy and remember!

Field Trip Volunteers

Parents are welcome to join us on field trips to share a special experience with their child. These outings offer a wonderful opportunity to connect, explore, and create memories together outside the classroom. Parents will accompany their child throughout the trip, supporting them during activities and enjoying the adventure alongside them.
