Our Programs
-
Preschool
Our preschool offers an inclusive, play-based program designed to support each child’s unique growth and development. With a mixed-age classroom model, we create an enriching environment where children from different age groups interact, learn, and grow together. By maintaining a small cohort size and implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, we ensure that every child’s needs are met through personalized strategies, materials, and experiences that support a range of learning styles and developmental levels. This approach allows us to nurture a strong sense of community while fostering peer learning and collaboration.
Mixed-age classrooms provide countless benefits for children’s development. Younger children gain confidence and motivation by observing and learning from their older peers, while older children develop leadership skills, empathy, and a deeper understanding of concepts by mentoring and modeling for younger classmates. This dynamic helps all children build social-emotional skills, independence, and a sense of belonging within a diverse group of learners.
Our full-day program runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, year-round, with flexible extended care options to meet the needs of busy families. Enrichment activities led by specialists further enhance each child’s experience, offering opportunities to explore areas such as gymnastics, literacy, handwriting, and cooking. Monthly tuition includes morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack, keeping little ones fueled for a day filled with discovery and joy.
We welcome children at all stages of toilet learning.

Extended Care
Our extended program, available from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, is an extension of our school day with the same play-based approach as our regular hours. During this time, children continue to engage in activities that foster social interaction, creativity, and exploration, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for families seeking additional care. Extended care tuition includes an evening snack.
Enrichment Programs
-
Gymnastics
Led by a skilled pediatric physical therapist, this gymnastics enrichment program promotes balance, strength, and body awareness in a fun, supportive environment. Through engaging activities and structured play, children develop key motor skills that support physical growth and confidence. Tailored to each child’s abilities, the program ensures a positive experience that builds coordination and encourages a lifelong love of movement.
-
Music
The music enrichment class introduces children to the joy of rhythm, melody, and creative expression. By singing, playing instruments, and moving to music, children build listening skills, enhance coordination, and explore their unique musical interests. This hands-on program fosters creativity, supports language development, and inspires confidence as children connect with the world of music in an engaging and playful setting.
-
Handwriting
Guided by a pediatric occupational therapist, the handwriting enrichment class strengthens fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and proper pencil grip—all essential for confident, effective writing. Fun, hands-on activities encourage children to practice forming letters, improve hand strength, and develop the foundational skills needed for lifelong learning. With individualized support, each child can achieve their personal best in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
-
Literacy
Our literacy enrichment class, led by a dedicated speech-language pathologist, fosters a love for reading, storytelling, and early language development. Through engaging books, interactive games, and language-rich activities, children enhance vocabulary, phonemic awareness, and comprehension skills—essential pre-reading skills for a strong literacy foundation. This program supports each child’s unique language journey, building strong communication abilities that lay the groundwork for academic success and lifelong literacy.
-
Little Naturalist
We offer an enriching nature program that takes children on guided hikes through the scenic Presidio of San Francisco. Along the trails, children explore local wildlife, learn about the area’s unique ecology and history, and develop a deeper appreciation for the environment. Led by experienced educators, this program fosters curiosity and a love for nature, promoting physical activity and environmental stewardship through hands-on discovery.
-
Atelierista-Led Art
Our preschool is proud to offer an Atelierista-led art enrichment program. An Atelierista is a specialized teacher with a rich background in the arts who collaborates closely with children in our atelier, or dedicated art space. Through diverse mediums, the Atelierista encourages children to express their ideas, creativity, and emotions, recognizing the “hundred languages” of expression every child naturally possesses. This approach allows children to explore and communicate their many ideas, fostering confidence, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the arts.

Future Foodies
We believe food is a gateway to discovery, creativity, and connection. Through our Future Foodies enrichment program, children will explore the art of cooking while expanding their taste buds and learning about diverse cultures. From measuring ingredients and following recipes to sharing their creations with friends, these activities teach essential skills like math, teamwork, problem-solving, and fine motor development, all while fostering a sense of curiosity and joy.
